Y’all!
Flock to your local book store, magazine shop, drug store, grocery store, or wherever else carries magazines, because ya girl is featured in a lovely article called ‘The 411 on Mediums,’ written by Danielle Simone Brand for the latest edition of Ghosts Magazine! It should be on shelves until August 2022, so be sure to scoop up a copy while you still can!
It’s a really gorgeous publication, too - full colour, and lusciously designed. Go check it out!
And huge thank you to everyone who contributed to facilitating my involvement in this mag.
My stance on mediumship based work - energy work in general, and any work with spirits of the deceased - is a little different from some of the mainstream assumptions about psychics. Actually, I’ve even had to un-train some clients of mine, who were used to seeing psychics who disempowered them - and familiarize them with my style of mediumship and spirit work, which involves helping clients connect to their own agency, and their own power to shift, change, and shape their lives.
Many people unfortunately go to mediums and end up feeling like they have no ability to change what the psychic or medium has told them is set in stone, often as a result of what some dead relative (who may or may not have been reasonable in life) has to say.
The dead are just that - dead, LOL. Some of them may be incredibly wise, and others may not be. Death does not instantaneously create enlightenment and wisdom in those who led dysfunctional, unhealthy, and miserable lives, and I always advise my clients to recognize the source of spiritual messages, and proceed accordingly. Ultimately, just like we can disagree with our living friends and relatives, we can also disagree with the dead.
I have so much to say on this topic, but I’ll leave it there for now!
If you pick up an issue of this mag, let me know how you liked it!
